Thank you for your continued support and generous donation to the Grand View University dance team!
Our well-established program continues to grow and now boasts more than 70+ student-athletes between cheer and dance. The expenses associated with competition, travel, and practice for each team continue to increase. The essentials including uniforms, shoes, and practice gear encompass the largest part of the team budget. The average cost to equip each student-athlete is roughly $1,000, which does not include travel and competition participation expenses.
One of our goals as a team is to continually support other Grand View athletic programs by bringing entertainment and excitement to the game day experience for the VIKING community and its supporters.
Another goal is to positively represent Grand View in our competitive seasons. Grand View cheer and dance have built an exceptional reputation nationally and locally, finishing in the top five at NAIA Nationals the past two years.
Our student-athletes are succeeding on the competition floor but also in the classroom, currently boasting a cumulative grade point average of 3.44 on a four-point scale.
Your donations will allow us to keep up with the growing needs of our program and help us to remain competitive within our sport. None of this would be possible without the support we receive from our friends, family, and program boosters.
