Our team continues to perform our sideline routines at football and basketball but now we've also started preparing for the competitive portion of our season. The dance team is preparing for the ISDTA State Combine and Competition on November 30, December 1 & 2 at Wells Fargo Arena. GVDT will be competing in jazz, pom, and hip-hop routines. The expenses associated with competition, travel, and practice continue to increase. The essentials including uniforms, shoes, and practice gear encompass the largest part of the team budget.  The average cost to equip each student-athlete is roughly $1,000, which does not include travel and competition participation expenses.
